Student of Jansen and Vasseur, François Piersen (1897-1982) began his career at Gouffé in Faubourg Saint-Antoine* in Paris, where he established a luxury decor department. Then under the Piersen name, in Faubourg Saint-Honoré**, François Pierson spent half a century, creating a multitude of styles. Notably, he designed the interiors of Mr. Mignot, in Paris and Reims, of Ms. Verdé Delisle, among others. These sketches are a very special collection from the Piersen archives.
