A coordinated trio of early 20th-century French literary classics by Romantic poet and playwright Alfred de Musset. Published by La Renaissance du Livre (Jean Gillequin & Cie, 7 Place Saint-Michel, Paris), this elegant first run edition dates to approximately 1908–1910, the earliest imprint before the publisher’s address changed after 1910.
Each volume features its original green paper cover with gilt framing and the publisher’s monogram emblem. The set includes Poésies Nouvelles (1836–1852), La Confession d’un Enfant du Siècle, and Contes (missing its front cover).
Softcover volumes with deckled edges and light wear consistent with age. A refined decorative accent and collectible glimpse into the French Romantic movement.
