Weathered Cast Stone Vase with Floral Relief

A small cast stone vase with a molded floral relief, tapering to a squared base, with an open mouth and a hole through the bottom. The original pale painted surface has worn back to the grey stone, leaving the soft, chalky patina of long weathering. Cast stone, not metal. It has the quiet presence of something that spent years outdoors, and looks best grouped with its companion, set among books and other worn objects, or holding a few dried stems.

Condition: Heavily weathered, with the painted surface worn and largely lost, exposing the grey stone beneath. Surface chips and losses throughout, and a hole through the base. Offered as found.

Dimensions: Approximately 6.75 inches tall, 4 inches at the widest, with a mouth about 2.875 inches across.
