19th-century French gilded bronze miniature frame with its original patterned silk insert. Floral and foliate relief around the perimeter. The back retains its original metal hanger, and a silk velvet ribbon has been added so it may be used as an ornament.

Styling
Ribbon is added to be displayed on a Christmas tree, and can also be added to a gallery wall or simple wall vignette. It is still a frame after all, and can always be used as such
