19th-century oval faïence fine dish by Creil & Montereau, from the Service Napoléon line. Transfer-printed in deep green with neoclassical swags and foliate scrolls. Marked SERVICE NAPOLÉON / CREIL ET MONTEREAU / LABRADOR / ÉMAIL SANS PLOMB. Even ivory toning and age craquelure consistent with period glazes.

Ideal on an easel for open shelving; also hangs cleanly on a wall. Works beautifully on a vanity to hold jewelry, or in a bathroom or near a sink for soap or folded towels.
