Description:

The composition bursts with saturated tones crimson, coral, saffron, white rendered in quick, thick brushstrokes that create both movement and depth. The palette and loose handling feel influenced by late 19th century Impressionist and post Impressionist techniques, but the oval format and subject matter remain rooted in traditional academic still life.

The surface is richly aged, with a fine craquelure throughout and scattered wear that only adds to its antique charm. The back is sealed with fabric and finished with a simple brass ring for hanging.
