Late 19th–early 20th century French ceramic soupière by Sarreguemines, marked on the base Sarreguemines / China. Classic footed form with applied scroll handles and a softly rounded body.

Finished in a warm ivory glaze with fine, stunning craquelure and authentic interior patina from age and use. A beautifully restrained example of everyday French tableware, equally compelling styled on open shelving or used as a decorative vessel.
