Sale price$120.00

Antique French Pexonne saucière on Attached Underplate

~10” x 4.5

A charming antique French sauceboat on attached underplate, marked Pexonne, measuring approximately 10” long and 4.5” tall. This creamy white earthenware piece features soft fluting and delicate ribbon-and-leaf appliqués at the base of the handles, echoing late 19th- to early 20th century French decorative motifs. The fixed underplate design adds both elegance and practicality, perfect for catching drips at the table.

Made by the historic Pexonne factory in northeastern France, known for its fine faience and earthenware production during the 19th century, this piece represents a rarer regional maker whose wares are prized by collectors today.

The light staining, crazing, and subtle wear across the glaze lend authentic character and highlight its graceful age.

Condition: General glaze crazing, light staining, minor wear consistent with age.
