A petite antique French round frame with a classic bow crest and bubble glass, presented here as an ornament. It is fitted with a vintage woven textile featuring a green bee-and-laurel motif, sourced in Paris, whose soft tones pair beautifully with the warm patina of the frame. The piece hangs from a sage Parisian grosgrain ribbon from the oldest passementerie shop in the city. The back retains its original stand arm.

A lovely accent for the tree, a cabinet knob, a wall hook, or displayed year-round as a miniature frame. The scale makes it especially charming layered with other smalls or styled on a stack of books.

Bee motifs have a long history in French decorative arts, most famously associated with heraldic symbolism and later adopted during the Empire period. The laurel wreath, too, is a classical emblem of honor and achievement—together creating a quietly elegant nod to French tradition.
